Be aware that there is no fence on this very busy street. The play structure is well worn and is made of metal and plastic over sand. There are permanent checker and chess tables used by folks who know how to play. Majestic redwood trees ring a large fountain turned planter covered with colorful, child-crafted tiles. There was a fair mix of children and seniors enjoying the shade.

When a large tree fell and crushed most of the park, a new one was built and dedicated in the late Spring of 2002. You and your little ones won’t want to miss this fun park. It is not fenced in however. There are two play areas both on wood chips. The toddlers have two swings, a helicopter, a playhouse, a coil rocking horse and a small metal and plastic gym with plastic slide. There is a sand pit area with an excavator and a clever platform with a water spout for mixing and watching the mess pour down through the tunnels. Bring a change of clothes. The big kid area has three swings, a tire swing and an enormous labyrinth of a metal and plastic ladders and tunnels to keep any child or monkey busy for a long time. There is limited shade, a few benches and picnic tables, a gazebo with picnic and barbecue that can be reserved and a cheerful hand-painted tile wall. There is a drinking fountain that is positioned rather high perhaps to keep clogging sand shovels at bay. Beyond this play area are four tennis courts, barbecue and picnic area and a curious cement waterfall that lies dormant among gorgeous well cared for lawns and flowers.

A tidy green lawn and two tennis courts surround this small neighborhood park. A well-worn wood and metal play structure holds two small slides. A separate swing set has two bucket swings and one toddler. There are two coil-riders in the shapes of a horse and a fish, there is one large yellow climbing turtle and an adorably small merry-go-round. Everything is built over wood chips. Hamilton Airport Park (also known as Palmisano Community Park) is a great park. Totally worth the drive out here. There are so many fun things to play on for different ages. All equipment is new made of metal and plastic on wood chips and rubber mats. There is an airport theme carried over in the play toys such as a free-standing airplane and helicopter. With the limited shade, toddlers will enjoy the cool water play sand pits. There is a small lawn and a picnic area with kid sized picnic tables. This area is not fenced in, but it is not near any busy roads either.

Because of its close proximity to a baseball field, this playground looks to be part of a school. It is not. You are welcome to play here. The one thing unique to this place is that there is not a big central play structure but several different smaller items. The most impressive is the double water tube tunnel on a spongy rubber surface which is functional in hot weather months. Next is a yellow pyramid rope climber and a canoe and two toddler full-bucket swings all on woodchips. There is a circular sandbox with a sculpture of a bear in the center. The last play area has two big kid swings, one large enough for an adult to hold a child on their lap. There is a tall curly slide and two stone sculptures, one a sphere and the other an arch. There is a small grassy area with many picnic tables and a mini amphitheater with a small circle stage and two rows of benches. The area is all wheelchair and stroller accessible because of the cement sidewalks. Near the shade of trees and the baseball bleachers is a small barbecue and picnic table. Note this playground is not fenced in so watch the creek and road.
