San Anselmo Memorial Park, also know as Millennium Park, is a testament of what can happen when a community pulls itself together for a good cause. Countless volunteers constructed this fantasyland in two days. No small feat as you will see. There are two areas; one for toddlers and the other for big kids, neither of which is fully enclosed. Built on the site of an old train station, this small playground packs in a lot of fun items. It is right on a busy road but is safely fenced in. It offers a good balance of sun, shade and benches. The most endearing feature is a musical hammer chime composed of galvanized steel pipes and coiled ball hammers.
