Greenbrae may not have a downtown, but this is where the local kids and caretakers convene. Large fields with very kid friendly bike paths and dog walks. The sand covered playground houses a large wood and metal play structure with metal slides, one toddler full-bucket swing, two older kid swings and one spring teeter-totter. This tiny park sits overlooking the bay. There are a few benches and a small metal and plastic play structure on wood chips. You can lay your picnic blanket on the surrounding grass. No swings, shade, bathrooms, or barbecue. One advantage is that your child can bring a tricycle or toy car and ride it on the smooth sidewalks. Bonus This small park is near the fire station. This is a darling little park for toddlers. In the center is a small metal and plastic structure over wood chips. Supervision advised on the stairs. There is a fun bumpy slide and a tunnel. All of the benches are in the sun. There is a short paved path that makes a loop around the play structure which works well for tricycles and the like.
